Task: to create a logo for music band “Second Ashborn”

The name “Second Ashborn” evokes associations / keywords: medieval / Celtic times, knights / earls, coat of arms / crown, pattern, nobility, luxury, birth or rising, ashes.

From the keywords the concept suggested itself: to use Celtic inspired patterns in a shape which reminds a crown, to use gold colour and capital S letter crosses capital A in the title.

Next step was to choose the fonts for letters. It was important to find a font where capital letter S has smooth bottom shape to cross the capital letter A in the middle.

In Photoshop colours and some effects were added, the title was edited and the final band’s logo looks like this:
